Te Puna Creative Hub Ignite

The Te Puna Ignite Initiative is a community-driven creative program designed to turn Te Puna into a regularly active hub for local artists, makers, and creatives in Henderson. Its purpose is to spark artistic exploration and creative passions through ongoing workshops, open days, and hands-on events, rather than limiting its impact to single, one-off occasions. In designing Ignite, I helped develop ideas for inclusive activities, participated in weekly sprints with my team, and pushed for iterative improvements through regular stand-ups. My focus was on making the hub welcoming and sustainable—researching successful creative spaces, refining our approach with feedback, and proposing practical strategies like membership options and dynamic programming, all to ensure Te Puna could thrive as a collaborative environment for everyone involved
